A pretty good sized box turtle. I don't know how it got through our fence, but it was on the back patio.
This is I.Z. fishing at Stonebridge Park 2 days after Kid's Fish Day. The city gave permission for anyone to fish the rest of the week. There were still some fish, we saw them swimming, but they didn't fall for the ole' bait-n-hook this day! See, notice, no crowd!

Playing in the Garden! Isabel was in her dress-up skirt. We were visiting Grandparents this day and she thought it was fun to play hide-n-seek in the corn!

Stonebridge Park had it's annual Kid Fishing Day! Registration began at 7am, the fishing began at 8am. We got there at about 7:20am and it was already packed with families set up to fish! I heard some people were there waiting at their spots chosen since 5am! We found a place to squeeze in next to a nice family! Over all, everyone was sharing nets or helping each other. Only the kids, I think 12 and under were allowed to fish. Parents could bait, and swing out the hook (no over hand casting for obvious reasons) but the kids had to hold the pole and hook the catch, then parents could help bring in the catch. There were tagged catfish for $ prizes and some bass and bluegill. The smallest and largest fish also could be turned in for a prize! It was fun! We stayed for about 2 hours. It started to rain a bit, and even though we knew it would pass, we used that as our time to leave. It was a nice family day! Later we had Dallin's birthday party!

Izzy tried fishing for a bit, but was satisfied to watch the boys fish and then she would run up to see Dad take the fish off the hook!
If you look close enough in the water's reflection, you can see the crowd of people across the water from where we sat.
How precious! I adore pics of my children sharing moments! Poor Dallin! Him and Isaac were side by side, and yet, Isaac caught five catfish and Dallin caught none.
